Jody Goehring

CO-FOUNDER

Jody brings a wealth of start-up, retail, and operating, experience to Akota Sports. Jody is also the co-founder and managing partner of Hyde Park Ventures, a restaurant investment and operating firm. Recently, Jody served as Vice President and Head of Corporate and Business Development at digital promotions giant RetailMeNot, Inc. Previously, Jody was an Associate Director in the Technology, Media, Telecom investment banking group at UBS Investment Bank in New York where he advised on a number of M&A and financing transactions. He also gained management consulting experience at Booz Allen Hamilton. He received his MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and BA from the University of Pennsylvania.

He played lacrosse at Penn.

 

 

Greg Vasey

CO-FOUNDER

Greg Vasey provides Akota Sports with deep operational and start up/venture capital experience. He is also a co-founder at Hyde Park Ventures with an extensive track record of building consumer companies. Prior to co-founding Hyde Park, Greg worked on UN policy at the US Department of State and received his MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and BA from Hamilton College.

He played lacrosse at Hamilton.
